September in Wisconsin
Plenty of good bike trails, but not plenty of time. We did our best to get out when we could.
"Good News" band, setting up at our favorite venue--Fallen Timbers. We left here at noon and drove 7 hours to Ann Arbor for the blessing of Jonah (see more pictures in previous post).
On our way home from Ann Arbor, we stopped at a Swedish cafe in Escanaba. But nothing compares to the lunches Bob makes me when he comes home for lunch.
Celebrating our wedding anniversary in the picturesque Door Pennisula. We had dinner by the bay and then went to the play in the theater on site.
This chart shows Bob's side of the family genealogy traced back to Adam through King Cole.
European Dairy Tour
This is Kirkenes, Norway. It is 15 km from Russia.
Sculpture gardens in Oslo. There were bums of all kinds in these gardens. It was hard to miss them in any picture.
Vienna, Austria - St. Stephen's cathedral
Hungarian Dairy Research Institute and nearby downtown.
Bridge to Sweden and a picture of the countryside from the car window.
Bicycles used in Arrhus, Denmark. Very popular.
Old, historic buildings from other locations were re-assembled here.
Picture of Thise Dairy in Thise, Denmark. Way out in the country.
Thise dairy products. The type of cow on the package tells which kind of cow the milk came from. This is from both holstein and jersey.
A walk in the Danish countryside.
Hotel Legoland had lots of kids and fun going on. All you could eat buffet was only $45.
Interesting building seen while on the train from Amsterdam to Ede.

Apostle's House
Since Naomi inquired about the Apostle's houses, here's a picture of where Peter's house was.
This was one of my favorite places. It was beautiful countryside and you could see a lot of the original foundations, so it seemed more "real" to me. They built this structure over the remains of the house to help preserve it. The houses were very, very small.

The Siblings
Last weekend all of Bob's siblings and their spouses came to Green Bay for a visit. It was wonderful to have them here. We visited and toured and ate food over and over for 4 days. It all went by in a flash. We toured a light house on the Lake Michigan side of Door County.
We visited the Maritime Museum in Manitowoc, which included climbing through a WWII submarine.

We visited the Experimental Aircraft Association Museum in Oshkosh, missing 10,000 Boy Scouts by one day. Whew!
And we just hung out at the house.
